Question Of The Week!

Hello! It's that time again!

Since everyone has been so kind and willing to read about our crazy adventures we wanted to give you the opportunity to share some with us. Sooo our question to you is:

What is the craziest adventure you've had before, during, or after an SNC event? (we can't be the only ones who have crazy things happen to them, can we?) Can't wait to hear some of your stories!

(btw, There should be a place in the comments section that lets you add your name without signing up. Please let us know if there isn't.)

  1. Alright so our adventures are all pretty well documented in this blog, however, I thought I would share a memorable one for me that was left out of our blog entries. This happened at Harrah's. It was Sunday and we we're ready to check out of the hotel, as was everyone else in there. The elevators were all packed, and after about 5 minutes of waiting Amanda, Mike, and I decided that we would forgo the elevators and take the stairs. We were only on the 5th floor after all, it shouldn't take us that long, right? Wrong! Some how we got hopelessly lost in the stairwells. We ended up in what seemed to be the kitchen/maintenance area of the casino...how did that happen? A nice man working back there spotted us, with our luggage and confused looks, and politely asked us if we needed help. We told him we we're trying to find our way out to the check-out desk. He chuckled, and opened the door that happened to be right behind him. He said he thought this was the way we were trying to go. That magical door led right to the casino, not far from the elevators we had decided not to wait for. So we tried to save time by taking the stairs, but I guess that didn't work out so much. At least it gives me something to chuckle about every time I think back to that amazing weekend at Harrah's!

By the way, feel free to tell us about your favorite SNC adventure if you want. It doesn't even have to be with SNC themselves.

Can't wait to hear from all you Chasers,

    Megan

  2. My first (and currently only) SNC show was on November 22, 2011 at the Beacon Theatre. It was a cold and rainy evening as my siblings and I made our way on the MetroNorth railroad from Poughkeepsie to NYC. We arrived and decided that getting something to eat was primary, then we would worry about getting to the venue. So we eat and by this time, it's dark outside and POURING rain. The venue was 30 blocks away from us and we were NOT going to walk in the rain so we decided a cab was the better option over the subway. The adventure that ensued was hailing the cab... In the rain... We stood on that sidewalk for a solid 8 minutes (in the rain, mind you) trying to get just one cab to pull over... Well, as luck would have it, two pulled over at the same time... They both asked where we were going, we told them, the one said he couldn't do it and drove off... The other didn't hear at first (I guess) and asked if we were going to Times Square (we were not) and he said he could only take us there and as he sped away, literally almost dragged my sister to the ground and ran over my brother's foot while he reached out to catch her... Needless to say, we were completely done with trying to hail a cab, so we started to walk towards the entrance down to the subway and stopped at a cross-walk. A miracle then occurred... A dude in one of those fancy black cabs pulled up and asked if we needed a ride. (and, by the way, it's still raining at this point.) We took the cab. Duh! The rest of our night was uneventful... (besides the fact that we saw SNC perform LIVE and I got to meet the guys IN PERSON!! I seriously almost fainted.) so that was my adventure and I hope to have some more one day soon!! (though maybe not that stressful nor dangerous...)
